Any girl, whether a Girl Scout or not, can now enroll in the Utah Girl Scout camp programs, running all summer long. Offered for girls in the first to sixth grade, Utah Girl Scout offers day, three-day and weeklong camp programs.

Run out of two different areas, Trefoil Ranch in Provo Canyon and Camp Cloud Rim in Park City, the girls are able to experience a variety of fun activities including: swimming, archery, horseback riding, arts and crafts, sports, environmental stewardship and more.

Plus, girls who spend more time outdoors are better problem-solvers, seek out new challenges and have more personal growth and empowerment, according to a new study, More Than S’mores.

“At Girl Scout camp, girls discover how to be more independent and self-reliant,” said Janet Frasier, the CEO of Girl Scouts of Utah. “Our camps serve nearly 1,300 girls each year and provide life-long memories for multiple generations of Utah girls.”

Both locations feature lodge and shower houses, with electricity, hot water and are accredited by the American Camp Association. The camp counselors undergo background checks and are CPR/First-Aid certified.
