Fresh Living’s Debbie Worthen and Casey Scott took the show on the road and visited Sagewood at Daybreak.

Sagewood is located inside the walk-able, master-planned community of Daybreak in South Jordan. Right outside your front door are 22 miles of walking trails, a new state- of the-art University of Utah Health Center, a TRAX light-rail station and restaurants and shopping.

In this inter-generational community, family is central to the Sagewood experience. Adult children live close by and grand-kids visit often to participate in activities.

Sagewood provides a continuum of care, where residents can move from independent living to assisted living and memory care all within the same building and community.

Sagewood is owned by Kisco Senior Living, which operates 21 senior communities in 7 states. This location in Daybreak is the first Kisco property in Utah and was selected because Daybreak recognizes the importance of providing places for seniors in the very heart of the community plan. Daybreak provides opportunities for recreation, participation and quiet reflection.

Sagewood provides an amenity-rich lifestyle for seniors with activities, restaurants, a full service salon and spa, on-site physical therapy and a doctor dedicated to its residents.

Quality Dining

The Bistro at Sagewood is a beautiful restaurant that is open the public. Sagewood has an in- house executive chef and pastry chef who provide three full menus each day, featuring fresh and nutritious meals like a delicious salmon salad, and gourmet pastries. The bistro is open from 7am – 7 pm every day and residents can order whatever they would like.

Spacious Living Options

Fresh Living walked inside the beautiful Spruce 2- bedroom model. This large 2-bedroom option offers residents an easier transition from their home. They have room for more of their belongings and residents can entertain family in this large space. This floorplan provides room for kids and grandkids can come stay. All of Sagewood’s apartments are designed with large exterior windows, where residents can enjoy the views and natural light that fills the space. This beautiful two-bedroom is one of 19 different floor plans offered at Sagewood, which offers great flexibility when choosing a place for mom and dad. If you are looking for a fully independent large space or a smaller assisted living option, Sagewood provides them all in this exceptional community.

Health and Well-Being

Health and well- being is a top priority at Sagewood. The community is designed with residents’ lifestyle, level of mobility and safety in mind. All workout equipment in the Sagewood gym is tailored for seniors and each resident has comprehensive plan for improving physical health.

Activities

Residents enjoy all kinds of activities and classes at Sagewood. The art studio is one great example of how they nurture the mind through creativity. Residents love to use the art studio, they interact with each other and continue to foster their hobbies and interests. Some other favorite activities include games of hall-e-ball and practice on the putting greens to day trips to local attractions.

Spa and Salon

Sagewood residents love a day at the Rejuvenate spa and salon. Sagewood stylists know their personal preferences and they feel pampered and refreshed.

Rejuvenate Spa is open to the public and family can come enjoy the amenities with their parents. Rejuvenate offers haircuts and color, manicures and pedicures and massages and facials.

Wellness of the mind, body, and spirit are infused into every aspect of life at Sagewood and as you can see Sagewood at Daybreak has perfected the art of living well.
