Earlier this month we had the pleasure of working with The Community Foundation of Utah to kick off the advanced donation period for the State’s largest single day of giving, Love Utah Give Utah.

Each year Love Utah Give Utah helps support hundreds of Utah nonprofits, charities, and schools in their effort to gain funding for their operations.

Using an online donation platform, thousands of Utah residents (and a surprising number of out-of-state donors) make donations to the nonprofit of their choice. Last year, more than 10,000 residents donated over $1 million in just 24 hours. This year, Love Utah Give Utah’s goal is to double that amount. So to that end, the Foundation opened up their donation platform to allow supporters to schedule donations in advance of the March 26 event.

To announce the  extended contribution period our team organized a Capitol Hill press conference and  invited Lt. Governor Spencer Cox and the University of Utah mascot, Swoop, to help kick it off.
